| The Zion Canyon
200k This route is basically an out and back to Zion National Park. You will leave St. George Utah heading out on rural roads past Sand Hollow Reservoir, Hurricane, Virgin, Rockville, and Springdale before entering the Park. Once in Zion you will follow the Virgin River to the end of the Canyon at the Temple of Sinawava. This Park is spectacular any time of year, but in springtime before the tourists arrive is a great time to visit. You will need to pay a park entry fee or have a park pass to complete this ride. Temps this time of year may start nice in the 60's and could climb to 80 degrees or so. Please be prepared as always for variable conditions. |
