| The Pine Valley Mountain
300k A classic new event, this ride takes you to the edges of Zion National Park and then into the Great Basin. It is basically a circumnavigation of the Pine Valley Mountains which are a unique mountain range detached from more extensive adjacent mountains, yet reaching nearly 11,000 feet at their summit. You will leave St. George Utah heading out on rural roads past Sand Hollow Reservoir, Hurricane, and Virgin then to Toquerville and on up to Cedar City. This route covers a wide range of climate zones from the generally warm zone surrounding St. George to the early spring conditions that you may find in Cedar City. You will return to St. George via Newcastle, Enterprise and Veyo on rural roads. |
